Description

Rainbow Springs 60-site campground in a nutshell - its facilities are too nice, its sites are too spacious and it is just too darn scenically located. Oh and the nerve of having a recreation center, park store, laundry room, restroom/shower facilities right on site! Seriously, who do they think they are having beautiful hiking trails and a nearby beachfront river access?! If you couldn’t tell by our vaguely ironic tone, we may or may not secretly love this place... and we may or may not secretly be trying to keep it all to ourselves. So shhh let’s just keep this our little secret okay?

This water is so spectacularly clear it is not to be believed. Delicious swimming. It is also possible to rent canoes and paddle down a river of this blue loveliness.

Rainbow Springs CampgroundThis is one of the old attractions created when Rainbow Springs was an amusement park. This park used to be a commercial enterprise including this waterfall. There used to even be a zoo. Rainbow Springs Campground

It gets full around the winter holidays, so book in advance! They have great kayaking gear and a nice 2 mile row to the head springs.
