It’s on a paved road right up to the edge of the Forest. Parking is off street. From there you follow a winding path (which sometimes veers away and back depending on fallen trees, rainfall, and other natural variations that may present themself as nature tends to do ;)

You will make your way over little streams, through moss covered rocks, and assorted species of trees and vegetation and wildlife to a small, mildly clearly area nestled between a running spring fed stream, and the navigable Black Creek into which it feeds.

The girth of the stream ebbs and flows with the amount of recent rainfall in the area.

Guests will be responsible for collecting and removing their trash/debris. But they are welcome to leave evidence of their presence in the form of improvements for future guests as well as ‘ artworks.’ (Artworks is defined loosely as creations can vary greatly from person to person. But should be ‘positive’ and ‘non offensive’.)

Guests may cut, burn, build, move, make, and create however they like while their to make their stay more comfortable and/or fun. :)

Feel free to make the most of the creek by means of kayak, canoe, etc but please beware that it is at your own risk. Black Creek is a natural waterway with all its occupants, and fallen trees may also be lurking just beneath the surface in places.

A life jacket is recommended at all times. (Even for expert swimmers).
