Pitch your tents or park your rv in our yard and set up a base for your Withlacoochee River adventures. Our rural property includes .25 acres of land that has our home on it, as well as the .25 acre empty lot next door. We are right across the street from the Withlacoochee State Forest, Hog Island State Park, and Iron Bridge Recreational Area on the Withlacoochee River. Use of our property includes access to the boat ramp to the river about 1 mile down the road. You are free to set up your tents anywhere on our property. There are many old trees, a fire pit, and the back of our yard faces a field where a few cows, goats, a pony and a yak meander freely throughout the day. It’s pretty quiet out here except for the animals and the occasional car passing by. We have one neighbor and there is a fence between our two properties. Privacy is not an issue. We do from time to time have guests who rent our house through Airbnb, and when they are there they will have shared use of our backyard and deck area. You are welcome to lounge on our expansive deck, and make your way freely through the yard. We also have a washer and dryer available for use in the shed, that only runs cold water.
