Staying here was a first for us using Hipcamp and can’t be more pleased . Jeff the host was gracious, informative, friendly and respected your privacy . Quiet and beautiful stay !!! SMILE !

We were blown away by this awesome campsite! The grounds were impeccably maintained, and we had no problem driving our camper through to the beautiful field of campsites. There are many different locations you can choose to set up camp, we set up by the nice white fence and we were tucked in with beautiful mature palm trees. There were a few other campers with their rvs staying at the same time but the campground is so large we had plenty of privacy at our site.
We loved exploring the grounds; the hosts own a garden store and we loved seeing all the stunning plants for sale. We would have totally purchased some but our camper was too tiny!
There is a gorgeous screened outdoor cooking space with a spacious table and a breakfast bar overlooking the river. It’s available for campers to use and we loved having that space for breakfast and coffee.
If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect campsite. We definitely plan to be returning in the future!

Awesome little spot to spend a few days. We originally just booked one night but it was such a great spot we ended up staying three.

Jeff, the friendly owner of the Meadow River Ranch, certainly has himself a slice of heaven! Lucky for us he is sharing it with Hipcamp members. From wherever you set up camp you have a view of the pretty grounds. My favorite view was of the pasture enclosed by a pristine white fence. My favorite place was the screened in building which extends out over the river and has a grill, microwave, fridge, etc and it was an ideal spot to work on my computer project.

Along the property runs natural spring river where the fish were jumping and we saw the local teenager alligator that makes the river it’s home. You will feel like a family member invited you to their beautiful farm. We originally booked 3 days but stayed 5 but could have happily stayed month. Will will most certainly be back.

If you are headed to the Everglades I highly recommend visiting the the Gun & Rod Club an hour south in Everglades City. It was the haunt of Earnest Hemingway, presidents and celebrities in its heyday. Well worth the trip. Also, Naples is an hour west of Meadow River Ranch.

A nice quiet place to stop fot the night.

Great property at the end of the road. Host was friendly and accessible. Quiet and flat spot for our 28 foot Airstream!

Lovely well maintained field off the beaten path.

Gorgeous, peaceful property, and Jeff was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
