The Little Coop
The cutest farm! So pleasant!
We had so much fun staying in the Little Coop! I loved that it was on a more secluded/private area on the farm, and we were super close to the bathroom, kitchen, & common room which was so convenient. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable to stay in. We spent most of our time either cooking meals at the outdoor stove or hanging out with the farm animals (especially the friendly cats!) The outdoor kitchen is the cutest with a shaded seating area where we'd eat. The trail that leads to the lake was so green and pretty, we also spent a lot of time exploring this area! Thank you so much for everything! We're excited to come back soon!

Rustic Tiny Cottage
This old goat loved the goats
GOATS!!!! Being raised in the city, I never had the chance to interact with these amazing animals. Watching them frolick and seeing their individual personalities was a joy. But, the goats weren’t the real star of the show. The Host was.! She went over the top to make sure we were well taken care of and included us in her busy farm life. It was fascinating enough to keep our 15 yr old son engaged and off electronics!!
Have a great time staying there! We’re already planning on coming back

Cozy Tent East
This was such a unique and fun experience! My daughter (16) and I enjoyed the tent life and were giddy with giggles about waking up to baby goats "meh-ing" for their breakfast. We loved being surrounded with the mama goats and their babies! The staff/volunteers were friendly and interesting to talk with. I would definitely recommend this as a wonderful and unique way to spend some time!
The Little Coop
Our stay was very clean and comfortable from our lodging to the bathroom. The volunteers were very friendly and cooking and eating in the common area was a pleasant experience. The goats and barn cats were also very friendly.
I do wish there was a little more communication (I ended up having to flag down the owner after settling in to figure out where the potable water was) but everyone was so friendly that it wasn't too much of an issue. Only issue was with the add-ons I ordered, biscuits and some goats milk. I kept an eye out for them in the common area during the stay but, with the kerfuffle of packing, forgot to follow up on them with the owner before leaving. Sad because I was looking forward to the biscuits.
Overall, highly recommend this place. Just make sure you ask about your add-on goods during the check in tour.

The Little Coop
Beautiful farm!
My partner and I loved our stay in the little coop! The view of Lake Talquin was beautiful, and just a brief walk from our little cabin. All of the animals on the farm were amazing! The goats, chickens, cats, and dog were all so sweet and funny. The farm fresh eggs were delicious and beautiful.
The host and farmer Melissa is amazing and so welcoming! Thank you so much for having us and making our stay so special. You’re doing such important work and it was so inspiring to stay on your farm and connect with nature. Thank you!!

Goat House Farm Camping
Camping here was awesome! The approach to their property is a dirt road with a lot of potholes so beware, but totally worth the drive. Lots of space to set up a tent (or hammock, which also worked great). Their amenities were nice and all the animals were super cute!
