This was the first campsite we stayed in using the HipCamp app and it sets the bar high. Whether you’re nostalgic for farm life or want to see what it’s like, Moonpie Farm and Creamery is for you. We had one of two sites. Our spot was spacious and private. We were able to purchase delicious goat cheese and fresh eggs. If we’d had the time in our travel schedule we could have learned more about the farm and helped out a bit. Next time. The hosts, Mary and Patricia are very kind and available if you need them. Yes, yes! I highly recommend Moonpie Farm and Creamery.

It was my first time camping and it was so exciting! The site feels very private and it’s so close the state park and caverns which is so convenient. The host was so kind and easy to deal with. We showed up kind of late and there was already a fire going for us. She took a minute to show us our little area. I loved the farm. There’s animals everywhere and watching the ducks and guineas while you drink coffee is so great. Her dogs are friendly and cute! Probably will be back honestly.
Convenient for I-10 travelers. The site is very well maintained and private. The birds are quite numerous and very entertaining. We felt very welcome and would stay again! The farm is located near Falling Waters State Park and we stayed at both, the farm would be our choice for sure! Elizabeth is doing a great job putting this site together. It is a boondocking experience. If you are self contained with a generator as needed, you will love it! Water is available.

Fantastic site! Liz bent over backwards to make the trip an amazing experience. Very private primitive spot on a working farm with amazing assortment of chickens, geese, cows, goats, and home to the largest pig I have ever seen!!! Will be coming here again!!!
