This is a great, cost effective place to camp if you're going to see a launch at Cape Canaveral. My group stayed here to see the Spacex Demo-2 manned launch and this campsite was a very short drive away from the Titusville / Cape Canaveral area.

Overall the campsite was extremely nice. The privy is much nicer than you're probably imagining (it was very clean and did not smell at all). The campground was nice and flat (great for our tents). The picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs were all good quality.

There are two things to be aware of: The property has roosters, which were quite loud between 5 AM and 6 AM while we were there. They woke us up the first morning, but we found that we got more used to them over time. The second thing is that the two campsites are *extremely* close to each other. If you're not booking both sites then be prepared to get up close and personal with the campers in the other site. Thankfully the people in the campsite next to us were nice and pretty quiet, however their dog did run under our tent's rain fly in the middle of the first night we were there.

Overall, I recommend Camp Shiloh if you need a place to stay in the New Smyrna / Cape Canaveral / Titusville area.

You are allowed to set up your tents anywhere on the property's front yard (you don't have to stay within the fenced in campsite).

Fantastic spot near Cape Canaveral, Titusville & Daytona. Troy & Valerie's "Camp Shiloh" brings all the joy of outdoor camping with 2 designated sites for tents/ RV's strung with solar fairy lights & lanterns each with a picnic table, fire pit and chairs. There is also a thoughtfully put-together folder with interesting local history explaining the site's namesake. The sites themselves are flat and grassy, beautifully maintained, quiet at night and with an eco-friendly toilet a short distance away. Troy & Valerie were wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They have a wealth of local knowledge and some great tips on things to do and see in the area. Highly recommended!

Each of the two designated camp spots is set up with a crafted metal fire pit & timber chairsEvening at Camp Shiloh, just before the solar lights came on

The site was very well kept! We booked both sites so we had plenty of space for 3 cars and 2 tents. The sites had 2 picnic tables, 2 fireplace rings, and one wooden chair. While the place is within eyesight of the host’s home, we never felt it was too close to us. The privy a cool addition, and I thought better than many other places without toilet facilities.

Troy was incredibly nice. His spot was very private, safe and perfect for us to spend two days in our van. We checked out the new Smyrna beach dunes with our dog and it was awesome. Highly recommended all around.

We really enjoyed staying here during a recent road-trip. The campsite is conveniently located close to Cape Canaveral. Troy is a great host and was fast to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this to fellow-travelers. We will surely be back soon to watch an upcoming rocket launch.

Staying at Camp Shiloh was a dream! We were looking for a weekend getaway and this was the place. The upkeep of the property is exceptional, beautiful trees all around and the ground was perfectly flat for a tent. It was camping made comfortable. Troy and his wife went out of their way to make our stay special. He brought us a binder of information on the area and fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. A cute tree in the middle of the campground shows all of the places Hipcampers have visited the site from and twinkly lights surround the campground at night. Picnic tables, lawn chairs, fire pits and firewood made for a great night out under a sky full of stars. About a 30 minute drive from Kennedy Space Center and 15 minutes from New Smyrna Beach.

This is a great place to spend a couple days and the hosts are amazing. The fire ring, 2 chairs, string lights, and picnic table are exactly what you need. The privy is just like a mini version of one you’d find on the Appalachian trail. Due to the location there’s no fresh water but it was easy to bring it with us.
