Quiet, clean and private.
This was a last minute get away for valentines and the space provided was just what we needed. We experienced the island sunset over looking the bay in the evenings, spent the day in Apalachicola which is just across the water and enjoyed long walks on the beach. We will defiantly be back. Space was clean and host was very nice!
Cozy beach spot
We really enjoyed our stay on Michael’s property. It is just a stone’s throw from a small beach area, close to town if you need a few things. Sunset view was beautiful!
Best spot on the island for an rv
My husband and I spent 6 nights at Camp Kush Beach and Bay on Camp 1 facing the bay. We were only 200 feet from the water with a little beach area where the locals gather to see the sunset daily. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Michael is the consummate host. He enjoys having people on his property and takes care of everything you need. He is friendly and accommodating and lets you be. He has power, water, an outdoor shower and a dump station. Cora, his black lab is a great watch dog. It's a safe, quiet, beautiful, relaxing place to be on island time. It's such a different experience than a state park or RV park. My husband was a big fan of Weber's Donuts. Best donuts you'll ever put in your mouth. Get there early. They sell out by 11 am.
Thank you, Michael, for your Southern hospitality!
