Sparks Landing Creekside in Missouri

Host Nanda Nunnelly says:

The Osage camped along the shores of Indian Creek, and later early settlers were drawn to the area because of the numerous springs and their healing properties. In the 1890s, the area became a tourist spot, called Indian Springs, with bath houses and hotels along the banks. There was a steamship built that could carry 75 people up and down the creek. By the 1920s, the town and its residents had moved on. The remains of these bath houses and town can be still be found by a short hike on the property.
