Host Joan Pickering says:
Our cabin sits on the back of the farm and was moved here from the oldest private fishing club in Texas. This was the original tenant house on that property and was built in the early 1900's. We carefully tore it down, board by board and re-homed it here. They were going to destroy it, so we saved it.
Our tent sites are near the cabin and have nice views of the pasture, but in the trees for shade.
The RV site is close to our home next to the barn.
On our farm we raise grass-fed beef, honey bees and chickens. We have a large garden and always have something growing. Farm fresh food can be purchased from the farm house (beef, honey, eggs, etc.). We are happy to provide a farm tour if requested, and if time permits.
