1765 White Mountain Farm in New Hampshire

Host Amy Friedrich says:

This land is the last remaining part of the original Currier homestead. The farm house was the fifth built in our town, in 1765. The new addition? Added in 1840! The old B&M railroad bed runs through the property and is now used for all types of recreational sports, from snowmobiling in winter to leisurely walks or bike rides in warmer months.

On the other side of the property you will find the Baker River, a mountain fed river offering swimming, wading, fishing and lovely beach to set up camp if you choose. Between the two is an open pasture surrounded by forest where you can choose your campsite in either. Come experience all the White Mountains has to offer! We are within a short (and beautiful in every direction) drive of serene paddling, easy hiking, true grit White Mountain hiking and 4000 footers, multiple AT crossovers, river floating, Plymouth State University and university night life, skiing, snowmobiling, biking both road and mountain, world famous climbing, cave exploration, a couple of breweries, StoryLand, SantaLand and the Lupine Festival.
