This land was originally a gold mine in the late 1800s that was then abandoned and later subdivided and sold off. This 10 acres was known as Gold Dollar #1, #2, and #3. There is currently an agricultural grazing lease on the property. The main minerals that can be found are quartz, pyrite and garnet.
