At The Edge of Wild Things in Michigan

Host Elena Wiggins Pierson says:

This piece of land so willingly became our home just last year in Feb 2017.  We saw it online, went to see it in person and said to each other "this is the one"!  Our home is located in Barry County Michigan, sitting at 950' in elevation, it is one of the higher elevations in the county.  The property overlooks woods, hay fields, row crop fields and even a long horn cattle farm.  It itself was once part of a larger farm.  There is a steep open hill for snow sleding in the winter and for flying kites on in the summer.  The woods have a ravine that is climable and at times especially in the spring a stream runs through it.  Barry County boasts over 160 lakes, several hop yards, breweries, long horn cattle, dairy farms, an automobile museum, Yankee Springs Recreation Area State Park, Historic Charlton Park, Midwest Minatures Museum, canoe rentals and a plethora of other interesting and exciting discoveries that await you.
