Host Sherry Dress says:
The property is 97 acres and we have had it since 1994. It was devastated by fire in Aug 2015 and we have been rebuilding it. There are a few trees that have survived, the Hawthorne, Crab Apple and Pine that are larger than life. The grass is starting to grow and is very green. We have a lake with fish in it but is a really nice place to camp down there by the rocks. The lake is the size of a football field and has a beautiful view of Canyon Mountain. We also have a 5 acre hilltop panoramic view for you to check out. We have two extra bedrooms if you happen to need it during your stay with us! Lots of things to do around here as well, the painted hill fossil beds, gold rush museum, lots of hiking and Magoon Lake where you can go up and go swimming. Strawberry lake is also a 12 mile hike nearby. The north fork of the John Day for fishing is also nearby.
