Welcome to the Uberland Prairie!
Just like the old days when people were traveling the Organ Trail. This is a grassy field close to the Platte river and town of Casper Wy. There are beautiful sunsets, and views of rolling prairie and mountains.

A delightful tent stay at ben's
Ben's Uberland Prairie was a great place. Ben was really helpful and the tent spot was nice and level. He had good lighting and nice green grass. We didn't get there until after dark so directions were a bit tricky to follow. There was a gorgeous moon view and incredible clear sky views. Thank you Ben!
Great spot to stop for the night
Great spot to sleep over on our way from Colorado to Montana. Ben met us, helped us find a good spot to set up our 18' R-Pod, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's about 6 miles off the interstate on a gravel road.
Wonderful host, family and property
We had a great time! Ben and his family were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. A hammock, picnic table and campfire were set up and waiting for us. We had a great time with their family and the chickens. We will definitely be back!
Great place to relax
We enjoyed our stay at Uberland Prairie, the extras like a picnic table and hammock under the trees were a nice plus. Ben and his family were very welcoming and we enjoyed the farm vibe from the mooing of the neighbor’s cows and Ben’s chickens wondering around. We would definitely stay there again.
Good place to crash
Ben’s place was a nice place to crash near Casper. Ben was hospitable and friendly, his dog too. Also there were some chickens. We drove right around back and slept there in our tent. No toilet and more clarity on where to dig a hole would have been appreciated but it was nice to have a fire pit, table, and hammock.
A pleasant meadow. Hosts were gracious but allowed us our privacy.
Trains do go past close by at odd hours, but we weren't put off by this, and had a very nice sunset and night overall.
