If you are self contained, and have your supplies in hand, this place is heavenly.... Spots overlook the valley, with NO traffic and noise... Visiting deer, and birds were welcomed campers... Steven was beyond accommodating...

Truly minutes from Devil's Tower, it was a great way to end our day of hiking around the park.

If you are looking for a quiet, out of the way place that is only a few miles from Devil's tower, this is the place. Paul (Steven) and Dawn are extremely gracious hosts and we loved every minute of the stay. We had places to get to or we would have stayed much longer. There is a nice fire pit (when there are no fire restrictions), the meadow is beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds in the little ravine behind us.

My battery died on my tow vehicle and Paul towed it up to his garage and charged the battery for us. We had a blast getting to know them and became fast friends that we look forward to seeing again.

Devil's tower is so worth seeing and staying at Camp Run Amuck made the trip so enjoyable that it will forever be a wonderful memory for us.

Right now there are only a few places to hook up power and water directly but Paul has cords and hoses and we were able to camp pretty much anywhere we wanted. There is a very nice 5th wheel that you can rent.

There is also an outhouse if you don't have a self contained unit or want to tent camp. I encourage Paul and Dawn to add tent camping to their property as it as the grass everywhere would be wonderful to pitch a tent on.

Great place, highly recommend it.
