I have a parking pad just to the south of the house with electric. I don't use it much and can make it available at any time. We have ducks, geese, turkeys and chickens that all get up with the sun and can be quite noisy. County owned land is available for hiking just across the fence.

Peaceful and fun!
Qe had such a great stay! Katie was extrekely welcoming, and she and her husband were somiind and patient with our kids. We loved meeting all the animals, and feeding them treats! We will for sure be back. :)
We loved it!
Katie and Andy and their goat and horses were all amazing hosts! We had such a lovely time talking with them and getting to know the animals. Great view from the little tent area, too. Thank you for such a great evening!
Staying at “Morning Comes Early” was perfect for me, especially since I needed an early start in the morning. The directions were easy to follow and she even has signage on-site to help. Sad for me, but great for the area, it was raining when I arrived. I ended up sleeping in my rav4 instead of setting up my tent, but I could see the tent site was well thought out. What really stood out is the bathroom available is an actual full bath. And I can’t leave my review without a special shout out to my new feline buddy Otis!
Kind hosts and pleasant goats ;)
We had a great stay at Morning Comes Early, and would definitely recommend it. Communication was great throughout--since we were on a cross country road trip, it gave us peace of mind that Kathleen kept in touch with us so effectively. And while we never met her in person, we did get to spend time talking with Andy, a wonderfully kind co-host that made us feel so welcome.
There was a spigot outside for fresh and cool, potable water. Andy also welcomed us into part of their home that I assume is reserved for HipCamp guests: an empty room that led to the spotless bathroom. Andy gave us full run of the bathroom, which, again, was such a treat since we were camping across the country. Running water, a shave, brushing teeth over a sink, an available shower, and fresh towels were all such a bonus!
As mentioned in the description, there are many animals on the property. We were met by a small goat and three ducks who had varying interests in us. There were horses near where we pitched our tent, and two dogs in the house. Other animals were around as well, so make sure that you are comfy getting to know so many fun pets in a short amount of time ;).
Thanks again to Kathleen and Andy for sharing their space with us. We had a great stay and would stay again in the future!
What a beautiful view! We loved watching the sunset over the mountains while we ate dinner. There are many friendly animals around to visit. Kathleen gave us a great tour of the place which has been in her family for 40+ years.
