We are 20 min southwest of Gillette, Wyoming on a small farm in a quiet area and only do single bookings. We have a 30 amp hook up for electric and a hose head with a splitter and a hose you can use for water hook up. We get amazing sunrises and sunsets. Pets are welcome. Wifi available. There is shade available by the barn and it doesn't smell bad I keep it as neat as I can

Extremely hospitable hosts
This was our first time using HipCamp. We had arranged a place to stay for the night, but it was several hours away and we were wiped. I booked the stay and we were already in Gillette, so it was a very short ride to the ranch. Even though we were last minute, Jennifer offered to make us dinner. We declined because we had just eaten. The ride down to their house was enjoyable because there were sheep, pronghorns and deer by the road. Upon arriving Jennifer also offered us hot showers, laundry and horseback rides. She and her husband, Steve, were so nice to us and helped us out of the bind we were in. We recommend staying there if you are passing through Gillette.
Welcoming ranch stay
Better Days Ranch is a great find! Jennifer is a great host, very accommodating and hospitable. She offered her spare bathroom for a shower and laundry as well. The sights are beautiful and we were greeted by the lovely animals of the ranch! If you’re near Gillette, stay at Better Days Ranch!
Nice overnight stop
We only had time for a quick overnight stop at Jennifer's place. We had a nice quiet evening and enjoyed petting the cat.
Steve helped us get set up with their convenient water and 30 amp power.
Easy, friendly and fun off i 90
Better days Ranch has a lively and comfortable Pippi Longstocking vibe , Our family of four really liked it there . We parked right next to the small horse barn right across the driveway from Jen’s house, and plugged into the 30 amp outlet with no problems.
Jen Is a relaxed, kind and accommodating host, and so are all of her super friendly animals! (cats, dogs, horses). We arrived late at night, along the way of our monster drive from Glacier National Park back to Philadelphia. Jen was easy to communicate with and made our arrival easy, she also helped us route some stops we needed to make on the way out too.
In the morning Jenn spent some meaningful time with my 10 year old daughter, and led her on horse ride around their arena. We really appreciate the way Jenn understands horses and respects their personalities, all while sharing her horse riding and caring skills.
Better days ranch was a fun and easy stop along our route, about 20 minutes each way off of I 90.
Jennifer is working hard to make this a comfortable place for RVers. She was very responsive and accommodating which we really appreciated, especially since we came on short notice. Plus, she offered us an Italian dinner which you will want to take advantage of since it’s a drive to get to restaurants. Eating with Jennifer and Steve gave us good insight into life in Gillette and Wyoming, which is a big part of why we love HipCamping. We enjoyed meeting Wilma, her very understanding horse, and getting a brief lesson on riding. Jennifer offered us a chance to do laundry (again, you’re a ways from the laundromat) which was much appreciated.
Better days ranch rocks! 🇺🇲🐎
Jen and Steve are very friendly and accommodating. They opened their house and their hearts for us. Very quiet camping spot and beautiful sunset!! Horseback riding was amazing; Wilma is the sweetest horse on the planet. Thank you Jen and Steve for your hospitality, you rock!!! I will definitely recommend staying here in the heart of Wyoming!
