Kara was an excellent host, providing us with a kindling fire ready to make our dinner or a bonfire after coming back from town as well as providing info as to where we could take out our kayaks. My 10 yr old daughter loved swimming in the lagoon & between the bon fire & hot tub there was perfect opportunity for star gazing... was even able to catch a couple shooting stars. Attentive but not bothersome host, would recommend this gem if you want a quieter place to camp.
Kara and John have truly created an oasis on this beautiful piece of property. Something for everyone, the adults, the kids AND the dog. They are the perfect hosts. They are super approachable and quick to answer any questions but also give you the space to explore their property and enjoy the serenity of the woods. It was too cold for us to swim but their new pool area is really cool and would be an amazing summer time stop.
10/10 would recommend!
