Camp in our nicely furnished tent cabins, Site #1 ( Bri's Hideaway) is furnished with a queen bed, love seat and refrigerator. Site #2 ( Adam's Getaway ) is furnished with a full bed, 1 cot style bunk beds and a refrigerator. We recommend bringing sleeping bags for both sites during the cool weather camping, we furnish some blankets but may not be adequate for the chilly nights in the later season. We are right on the ATV trails, with many lakes, rivers and trout streams close by. There is whitewater rafting nearby for the trill seekers. Or if you enjoy hiking, the Nichole National Forest is minutes away. You can relax on the front deck of your tent cabin or sit by the campfire. We are a small country bar & grill. We have a great Friday night fish fry, or try our famous chicken dinner, or one of our homemade pizzas, we have wraps, sandwiches and more.
We are located 1 hour north of Green Bay, WI.
The tent cabins will be open May 1st through October 31st with a shower room available. There is limited heating available in the units. Please plan accordingly. Due to the somewhat limited internet access at the camp sites, we may be unable to respond in a timely fashion to your email.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
My friend Sean and I had the best time staying at the Northern Glamping Camp. The cabins were way beyond our expectations. For visiting at the end of March we thought it would be pretty chilly but they had heaters going inside and we were very warm the whole time! The decorations made us feel at home. Casey who was bartending at the Wheel Inn Bar on the property was a very kind soul who was helpful the whole time. We took advantage of their $1 burger Wednesdays and they were to die for (I recommend the jalepeño burger). We had some time to kill so we thought we would venture out. We stumpled across a dam and hiked around the Nicolet National Forest. During the night we lit a fire and sat under the stars, it was quiet and secluded and lovely. Then we headed to sleep in the cabin were we had the sleep of our lives (no joke the bed was so comfy)! I would highly recommend this place to everyone for a nice get away in the middle of Wisconsin. I'm already planning my trip back!
What a cute spot! We rented this cabin for our anniversary and were so pleased with our stay. The cabins were clean, adorable, and so comfy. We ate dinner at the Wheel Inn (half off pizzas on Tuesdays!) and it was delicious. We explored the hydroplant and watched the sun set over the lake.
Even though the cabins are in a campground surrounded by other campers and RVs, it was super quiet and peaceful. We will be back!
We stayed here because of the tent cabin and really liked it. Hopefully one day we’ll have one of our own. We met the tent maker, who lives locally, at the Friday night fish fry and it was really cool to hear his stories and see pictures of his work. As someone else said, the cabin is behind the bar/restaurant on a camp ground with RV hook ups, a grassy field with a sand volleyball court in the center, trees around the perimeter and next to ATV trails. There is a newly added bathhouse with a hot water shower and a camp toilet (lined bucket) between the 2 cabins. The bar/restaurant is 50 steps away if you need a flushing toilet, drinks or meals. The tent cabin is beautiful and super clean. We stayed dry in the rain and warm during the cold nights. It has a propane heater and a portable air conditioner in the cabin for any weather. There was a generous amount of camp supplies provided (lanterns, plates, table cloth, silverware, fire wood, cooking grate for over the fire pit, bed linens, pillows, towels). The bed was super comfy. We enjoyed hiking at nearby Thunder Mountain and the Nicolet national forest and checking out area waterfalls. I appreciated that the cabin and the restaurant’s outdoor patio were dog friendly!
My girlfriend and I stayed here and loved it. It’s pretty easy to find and check in, and despite being a few hundred feet away from the restaurant it still felt private and quiet. The place was really clean, and we really appreciated the attention to detail, including coffee for the morning, candles, a picnic basket, etc. The shower house even has extra towels and shampoo. The bed is super comfortable and we slept really well. We’d absolutely recommend this place and hope to come back again someday!
We had 6 people stay in Adams getaway and it was awesome! Really cozy in the cot bunk beds. The decorations and amenities were cute and so perfect! I’ve never experienced such a clean “camping” environment! And having the ATV trails right there was also a plus! The host Bob was very friendly and reasonable! Definitely would recommend it and go back again!
The northern glamping camp far surpassed our expectations. Everything seemed to be brand new and extremely well kept. The “outhouse” was the nicest one I’ve been in and there was a full shower. In the cabin was a sink with running water, a small fridge and k-Cup coffee maker. It was everything we needed and more.
If you visit you must stop by the inn and grab a pizza and a beer. It’s just as impressive as the camp site.
Overall we were extremely pleased and would highly recommend this.
This camp exceeded our expectations!! Both the "tent" and the outhouse are incredibly well maintained, extraordinarily constructed and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed a meal and a beer at the Inn/bar on site and were blown away by the friendliness of Bob (the host) and the entire Inn staff. The cabin had everything we needed in a perfectly small and quaint space. My only regret is that we couldn't stay another night! Would HIGHLY recommend this Hipcamp to all my friends + family!
This was our first "glamping" experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A huge storm came through while we were there and knocked down a lot of trees in the area, and I was really impressed with the sturdiness of the canvas cabin. I would love to own one of my own. We stayed in cabin #1 with the queen bed. The decor was super cute, and what made me want to book the cabin in the first place. Unfortunately, every spare inch was taken up by decoractions. I had a hard time finding a spot to put our personal belongings, and had to move a few items around to make room. Less decor, and more functional items, such as a stand to put your luggage, extra hooks to hang umbrellas, jackets, keys etc, would make the cabin more functional. Also, a cloths line outside to hang any wet towels would have been helpful. We arrived on Thursday and left Sunday. Our cabin was clean, except for the family of dust bunnies under the bed. The main trash bin outside was full when we arrived, and overflowing by the time we left. The shower area was fairly clean, but a quick 5-10 min cleaning each day to clear out any bugs, sand, and pine needles, would have made the shower a little more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to camp where all the action is, this is it! The cabin is about 150ft behind the bar & grill, in an open field surrounded by other camping sites. It is just off of an ATV trail, and County Rd W so we saw many drive by. Overall our first glamping experience went well, but a little more functionality and extra house keeping would have taken it over the top.
Hot, noisy, and little privacy.
We stayed in cabin 1. The cabin itself was cute and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable as well.
However, there was no shade over the cabin tent at all, not any trees or vegetation surrounding the site for privacy. It was basically like camping in someone’s backyard. It was very, very hot waking up with sun on the tent and little wind. 10 out of 10 would not recommend staying there durning the hot summer months. There was no escape from the heat either as there was no shade over the cooking area.
There was poor cell phone service so we had trouble looking up directions to get anywhere in the area. There was also a lot of activity at the bar in the evening as the deck attached to the business basically overlooks the campsite, so me and my guest felt very much like we’re were on display for all to watch.
There was also a noisy ATV trail right next to the property and they were doing construction on the site in the morning.
The hosts didn’t offer much of a check-in or information about the stay upon arrival, the person we checked in with seemed really busy attending to the bar guests. It just didn’t feel very accommodating.
Overall it was a hot, uncomfortable, noisy and awkward experience.
