Our stay was great. Easy to get in and set up, spectacular view and trout stream. Bathroom were very clean and good firewood.
When we arrived at West Fork we weren't sure we were in the right place, and then Todd Lambsman rode up on his ATV to greet us and show us around. We stayed at 10 different Hipcamps on our journey through the midwest and this was hands down one of the best, with hot showers(make sure you have quarters!), water, bathrooms, internet, and our Beagle Sadie could happily run around sticking her nose into everything, and an engaging host in Todd who kindly oriented us to everything we needed to know about Viroqua, as we had errands to do for the next leg of our journey. He even came back the next day to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Todd!
We are planning trips for next year
We had a great time. The chill atmosphere was incredible. It is a litt hard to figure out the campground at first, but there was a club member there that was unbelievably helpful.
Bathrooms were good. The clubhouse looks like a fun place to host folks. I would say the entire club was 1/3 full, and we asked the members we met of that was "crowded" and they all said this was about typical for a "busy" weekend.
You can camp pretty much anywhere, and it felt like tons of room.
Really nice community of people
Very welcoming
Nice open spaces. Didn't feel crowded by other campers.
Clean bathrooms and showers
Very nice area. We biked mostly. Spectacular area for biking. Caught a couple trout in the river too
Can't wait to go back!
Serene! This place was a delight to fish, wade in the stream, and just chill. Awesome views and the 30A hookups were great complements. Totally worth the drive.
