Beautiful, quiet farm for camping!
Susan's land was lovely! Gorgeous views. We got to see a massive, orange-colored full moon rising as night fell, and the sunrise the next morning was magical. Susan was super friendly and helpful, greeting us when we got in, helping us find a good spot, and bringing us a portable fire pit and firewood. A couple of sweet farm kittens befriended our kids, who were absolutely smitten. The next morning Susan welcomed us to pick fresh veggies and herbs from the garden! Perfect place for a quick overnight on our dispersed camping, cross-country road-trip.
Susan's site is absolutely beautiful! We camped on the hill overlooking the farm and river, and the views were gorgeous. She and her husband were super welcoming and offered us fire wood and tons of vegetables from their garden. They have two barn kittens (Jack and Diane) that were very friendly and hung out/cuddled with us during our stay.
Susan's land was fantastic! Great views overlooking the farm and river, plenty of room to camp, and nearby to many recreational activities. They even brought up some wood to get a fire started.
A beautiful view!
The site was well groomed and the view was amazing. Owners very nice and accomodating. A stray cat decided to join us for our campfire, although it was friendly, allergies kicked in. Owner did warn us a cats were abandoned near the farm recently and were hanging around. But, overall we had a great weekend and experience with our family :) We would definitely recommend this place.
Beautiful stay at an amazing farm.
Our host Susan was kind and welcoming; she brought us firewood and let us pick kale from her garden. The farm is beautiful, the views from the campsite are outstanding. Highly recommended
Susan was friendly and answered questions promptly. The site has beautiful views of the river and the changing trees - stunning colors. The hilltop can be get windy so plan for that. Many hiking options around however we didn't know it was youth hunting weekend and didn't have orange vests so we couldn't hike on the Ice Age Trail like we wanted.
Susan’s farmstead was AMAZING. Such a beautiful location and her families hospitality was appreciated! We only stayed one short night as we were hiking the Ice Age Trail the next day, but she brought us firewood and was very accommodating. Highly recommend this place!!
