Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat

Magical paradise!! This is a place that will etch a memory forever! What a beautiful and meticulously made cabin. The detail is extraordinary. You’ll have everything you need to cook a meal and enjoy the surrounding sights, birds and visiting animals out the big windows. Lots of places to chill and relax- big couch, screened in patio and a fire pit! Veronica and Dave are truly wonderful hosts. Don’t hesitate to stay here. It is memorable.

We had a great time staying at the cabin this weekend. We arrived late at night and the directions were simple to find the spot. The host had the cabin ready waiting for us, it was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and in spite of hot weather it the cabin stayed cool. The pit toilet was very clean. There were a few short trails for walks. The tip of bringing headlamps was key! Very little cell reception but it is not a far drive to find some if needed. We would recommend!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our ladies' weekend. There was plenty of space for the five of us and the cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable- bedding, dishes, etc. It was rejuvenating to get away from the city and spend some time in nature. We spent lots of time in front of the fire and we all laid out on the trampoline to watch the sunset. We loved stumbling upon all of the hidden sculptures and artwork. Veronica and Dave were friendly and accommodating, and said they could not hear us at all (even though I think we were pretty loud!). We would love to visit again!

Veronica was so kind and welcoming! The cabin itself is bigger than the photos led on, super clean, pit toilet was nice too. We needed a new propane tank for the grill and Veronica brought it right away. Hearing the morning rain on the roof as I was waking up the next morning really set the scene :) we will definitely be back, loved every minute of it!

Beautifully crafted, artistic decor and whimsical cabin. Just behind the hosts residence but still felt private. Very fun place to stay.

Veronica and Dave’s land is absolutely beautiful. It was such a peaceful stay. We enjoyed many fires outside and saw plenty of wildlife. I’d recommend to anyone and love to stay here again!

Such a great place to get away and spend some rainy spring days! Our dog loved exploring the woods and we loved snuggling by the fire and jumping on the trampoline. Everything was so quiet and peaceful and the cabin had everything we needed. We’d love to visit again!

This was the best way to spend my 26th birthday! Nature, and a beautiful, quaint, and cute cabin! (I called it the cutie cabin throughout our stay.) our hosts were very kind & communicative, all while letting us feel like we are secluded from the world! Our dogs had the time of their life. And this was a much needed getaway for us all. It was very relaxing and fun! I highly recommend staying at Fisher Cat Creek! Thank you Veronica! 🧡

Fisher Cat Creek is a beautiful off-the-grid cabin supplied with kitchen equipment for six people (pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils). While we opted to bring our camp stove, we easily cooked for seven people between the wood fire stove and propane grill.

Veronica provided us with ample wood and drinking water and quickly answered my many questions.

My loved ones (two-legged and four!) and I will hold onto memories of our stay forever. Nothing will compare to falling asleep under the pitter-patter of rain against the cabin's roof while the wood fire stove warmed the room. It was the perfect chilly, rainy April weekend. We will surely be back.
