Excellent host, site, and views!
Patricia and her husband are excellent hosts! The campsite had a wonderful view overlooking a wooded valley and the sunset. Hosts were very accomodating and genuinely cared about you as a camper as well as how you liked your trip. Site was close to the town of elkhart lake that is home to many good restaurants and bars such as route 67 saloon. Way better than a state park site where you have to deal with obnoxious individuals. Patricia was more than happy to tell us all about her cool house after we asked about it. If you get the chance, stay here and check out the views! The dog was an added bonus as well!
Lovely stay near elkhart lake
The first impression was the lovely view of the old growth forests and corn fields amongst the rolling hills. Then the host warmly greeted us, giving a tour of the lot and showing the amenities. The yard had many places to pitch a tent and even with another party there, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. This is a great place to stay, host and scenery, and we'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
Pretty and comfy and relaxing
Our stay here was lovely. We were surrounded by wildflowers and hills that framed a beautiful sunset and woke up to birdsongs. We camped in their yard and it was spacious enough that we didn't feel like we were intruding on the residents and were pretty far away from the other campers on the other side of the lawn. It felt luxurious camping on such soft, carpety grass. We could walk around the tents without shoes on there was no mud or dirt to clean off when we packed up. The house is beautiful and the guest bathroom was clean and easy to access. Patricia was a great host (we didn't get a chance to meet her husband) and her dog is so cute.
Serene and inviting!
Patricia met us in the driveway of her beautiful property upon arrival and made us to feel welcomed right away. Her property is beautiful and met our needs for the night. I especially enjoyed walking the trails around the house, listening to birds sing while looking at the wild flowers! She has a sweet dog, Agape, who watches over his land & guests! He was a great host as well.
