Sanctuary of Sunlight
Beautiful Peaceful Retreat
Beautiful, peaceful campsite! We very much enjoyed our stay at Sanctuary of Sunshine. Lovely site surrounded by trees with a view of the lake and the sunset. We stayed on weekdays in September and there was very little traffic on the road, maybe 6 cars a day. So quiet and peaceful! It was so quiet! Loved watching the sunset while enjoying the fire!

Awesome place!!!!!
I'm tempted to give this place a bad review just so I can keep it to myself!!!! My only regret is that I don't have an ATV/UTV to ride all the trails. So relaxing and private. Good fishing, beautiful sunsets and no light pollution. Be sure to go into Minocqua..

Sanctuary of Sunlight
Beautiful Private Lot!
This site was perfect! Completely private and serene, and on a great little lake. We kayaked, caught fish within minutes of casting our poles, and even ventured over to Copper Falls one day and Minocqua the next due to its great location! The sunsets were phenomenal!!! Nikki was super nice and responsive, and we would definitely recommend spending time on her beautiful lot!

Sanctuary of Sunlight
Beautiful spot right on the lake. Nice flat area for easy parking of your RV or setting up your tent. Nice fire ring, table and chairs. Very peaceful and relaxing. Host is great communicator. We will be back!!
Sanctuary of Sunlight
Nice site but noisy gravel road
Nikki was very accommodating and a good communicator. Overall the site was nice.
PROS: The lot is on a nice lake with only a few cabins on it. Trees surround the campsite and walkway to the lake, which is nice because it's a narrow lot. When the water is high enough (it was very low when we visited), the dock would be a handy amenity.
CONS: Although when I booked the site I could see that the camping area was right off the gravel road, I assumed that due to the remote location there would be very little traffic. Not so, unfortunately. Pretty noisy and dusty. Also, at $46 per night we felt it was overpriced considering there is no toilet or potable water. However, Nikki pointed out before we arrived that there is a campground on the other side of the lake with both.
