River to Ridge Farmstead

Beautiful spot with lovely views. Great spot for kids and dogs to run around. Susan was out of town when we were there, but she gave us a kind welcome over the phone and said we could pick some veggies from her garden (which the kids loved). It was a great stay.

The property was amazing. Great views and the host, Susan, was beyond welcoming and helpful. 100% recommend for a great stay.

This campsite was everything! From the views, to the adorable animals, to Susan and Greg’s amazing hospitality—everything was perfect. We had a beautiful weekend away. The hilltop campsite was a peaceful place to paint, relax, and unwind. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot. Bring a large tarp or footprint if tent camping as it can get pretty wet in the tall grass. Susan could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Absolutely lovely farm.

Omg. Seriously. Susan is the greatest hostess. She has a beautiful piece of land overlooking the Chippewa river that has great breezes, walking trails and views. Sue goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and happy! 5 BIG stars!

Susan has a fantastic camp on a meadow overlooking the river- it is alongside a road that has minimal traffic...
We used her location as a base camp to kayak Brunet Lake and hike local trails...
Water is available at her house on the lower lot, we had cell service and WiFi, there was a fire pit and some wood left for a fire...
Susan had lots of local knowledge and was happy to share near places to go explore and eat!

Susan and her husband were such wonderful hosts! Beautiful open space up on a hilltop that overlooks their farm and the river nearby :) there were no trees or areas for shade so camping on a hot day may be tricky but highly recommend when the weather is exceptional!

What a beautiful, beautiful spot. So peaceful, lush green and plenty of space for the kids to run around. We loved sitting by the fire watching the gorgeous sunset. Would love to visit again!
