I took my Three young boys and we camped at the car camping site. We had an amazing time. It was beautiful, peaceful, and private. We went in November so nobody was there at the time but one other group and we both kept our distance to respect each other. Being able to play in a trout stream is absolutely golden with small children. Thank you for a great long weekend

Took advantage of oddly warm early April weather and camped at Beaver Haven for four nights, just me and my dog. We had a great time exploring the property! Scaling the hill on the west side of the camp is a fun challenge- no trail, just you and the woods! It takes you to a giant open field, not a person in sight. It was very nice meeting Stella and getting some ideas on local hikes (we did Black Hawk Rock on the way home, amazing!) The pup was very disappointed to learn we don’t actually live there now and had to return to the city...

Thanks for letting us stay on your land, hope to be back soon!

Awww, Daniel, so happy to know you had such a lovely time, and even chose to stay another night! We are working on getting some actual trails cleared on the west side of the property before your next visit... good on your for being so adventurous! Looking forward to having you both back :).

Very nice and peaceful place to camp! Brought my two dogs who were allowed to run and play freely. Day and a half later they’re still worn out from all the fun. Hosts were very kind and thoughtful. Would return again.

Incredibly peaceful and Tai and Stella were both so friendly! We loved getting off grid with no service and hearing nothing besides the water in the creek and nature at its best. Our dogs enjoyed it too. We would absolutely return!

Stella and Tai were so welcoming to my brother and I when we arrived! We loved seeing so many horse & buggies as we neared the property. The creek is cool and clean- a welcome respite from the oppressive heat of the weekend. If you are a bird lover, there are so many birds in the daylight hours. We had a great time watching and listening to them and the frogs.

Some other campers arrived after us to use the dispersed sites and were all in view so we never felt too isolated from humanity... or pups for that matter! Two of the other groups had friendly pups and one came to visit us a couple of times. My brother said he could make out some music from another camp while we made s'mores by the crackling fire under ALL the stars! Friendly, relaxed, communal but respectfully spacious vibes all around,

In the morning we enjoyed our hammock, the amazing water right from the spring, and a hike up to the Sacred Circle (powerful & peaceful), and then a blood-pumping hike up Rainbow Ridge.

We stayed only one night due to high temps, but I cannot wait to come back and share this space again, maybe with a few more friends, or even by myself! Thank you to Tai and Stella for preserving this special place and making it available for us to enjoy, recharge, and connect to nature.

This was a unique camping experience! The car camp spot worked well for our large group (5 adults and 5 kids!) We did put one tent on the other side of the creek which worked well. The kids loved playing in the creek.
Another fun aspect, was a neighbor from an Amish farm stopped by to sell fresh strawberries, delicious!
The camp host, Logan was helpful and available if needed.
On the downside...The outhouses were popular and it was hard to find a private spot to "go" elsewhere. With the car camp spot your vehicle could get blocked in while other campers are unloading so if that's a concern for you, I'd suggest unloading and moving your vehicle to the parking area. That's what we did so we had the option to leave if we needed to.
There is so much more I could put in here but part of the fun of this place is discovering it on your own. Enjoy! We sure did!

We had an amazing time camping at Coyote Car Camp. The setting was even more beautiful than the pictures show. The host was super hospitable and made sure had everything we needed. 10/10 definitely recommend staying here.

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The views were beautiful the sound of the creek at night was great. No cell service so we were able to enjoy everything Beaver Haven had to offer. 11/10 would come back again. Thank you so much for letting us stay and enjoy the beautiful land.
