We had a lovely three nights. Lucky us, no rain, great breeze left us with low bug count. Host provided free firewood, we had an ax with us so splitting was no problem. Dan allowed our dog off leash. She really loved not being stuck on a chain! Biggest campsite EVER, lol! Easy access to northern forest roads for scenic drives and explorations. I would certainly use again. Only downside, since property is still under construction, drive route was a tad too too narrow for our full size truck and wee trailer to corner. Bit of a radius hang up on there; average trucks and cars and tenters would have no problem.

Last minute decision to camp here, I didn’t look much at the details, we just needed somewhere to crash nearby. Glad we chose this spot! Dan was friendly and a great host. Had firewood on site and plenty of options between trees, and the fields. Good vibes all around. We would definitely come back.

Dan is an amazing host and was super accomadating. Beautiful sites, clean and upkept outhouse, mowed trails, and he brought firewood for us to out site. Wonderful stay all around:)

Great campsite! Loads of wildlife and sounds of songbirds, frogs, and ruffled grouse pounding logs with their wings. If you visit in summer months come prepared for typical “north woods” mosquitos and insects. Outstanding location! We spend the days exploring local lakes and forest roads and could not have imagined a better experience.

You will probably want full insect protection in summer months.Meadow campsite. Wooded campsite.

This was AMAZING place to stay. I loved the trails that Dan had throughout the property. My dog and I adventured everywhere and ran the trails several times during our stay. There were also tons of butterflies and fireflies running along with us.

The wooded site was super clean and ready for us when we got there! Firewood was provided which was a HUGE plus. The property is extremely remote and private which we loved - our own little getaway! Just make sure to pack lots of bug spray because the mosquitoes are definitely ready for ya.
