There are no picnic tables yet (planned for 2021) but there is a pit toilet (bring tp) and a fire ring (bring kindling and a lighter, wood is provided). Trails may or may not be mowed....assume you are going to a wild area and not a fancy maintained campground.
Site 2 is a fully wooded site on top of the first ridge of the property. It is a shorter walk - about half way to the back end of the property and the sites. Hammocks have succesfully been used at this site.
No houses, other campsites or roads are visible from this site. Just beautiful oaks, wild plums, apples, hazelnuts, berries and lots of wildlife.
The terrain is typical for the driftless regions of Wisconsin with hilly terrain that is easily walkable by able-bodied children adults. The woods are oak-dominated and half of our 60 acres is woods and half is open pasture.....excellent for bird watching! If you are a birder ask to see our official inventory. We have also had official mushroom forays on our property so if you are a forager - ask for those results! Foraging for personal use while on our farm is allowed, but nothing substantial can be harvested without our permission.
Our farm is free from any chemicals and our beef, lambs and pigs pasture the entire property at some point of the year (so watch for droppings!) - occasionally animals get loose and so you may see them walking and grazing through your campsite! You are free to explore our 60 acres but we ask that you are mindful of gates (so the animals aren't loose) and property lines.
Each site is marked with a number and has a campfire ring and outdoor privy. Potable water is available at the farmstead. Campfire wood is available at each site. Fires are not allowed during periods of High wildfire risk. We also have a farm store with all of our products available for purchase (meats, soap, sweatshirts, etc).
Note that the live music on Friday and Saturday nights from May - early Oct can be heard at this site and live music is usually done by 10pm in the summer, much earlier in the spring and fall. We may still have guests making noise until midnight.
The ATV and horse riding trail is about 3 miles away, as is the Buffalo River. The Mississippi River is about 45 minutes south. We are half an hour south of Eau Claire, half an hour west of Osseo (hwy 94) and about 1.5-2 hours east from the Twin Cities.

My partner and hammock camped at this site. It's perfect for hammocks or tents. As it was a Saturday, we were able to come down to the main farm area to get dinner and drinks. Despite the music and the crowd, we still felt secluded up on the wooded hill.
Camping at Together Farms was an awesome experience! The farm has beautiful rolling hills where animals are roaming around. Lots of fun activities and hosts were friendly and welcoming. Would stay again!
