We celebrated our yearly camping trip here. We had 7 individuals and it was loads of fun. Kayaks, and paddle boats were one of our favorite parts of the trip, the water was beautiful. The space we were in, was awesome as well! Lots of things to do and lots of seating which helped alot. I’d stay again!

I respect his hussle to make a few extra dollars, so I'm not going to ask for a refund. The resort was in his backyard and I personally didn't feel comfortable staying, so we didn't. I'm sure someone else would enjoy the stay he seemed very nice and hospitable. I just prefer a more secluded type of camping.
This is a backyard site, not quite as private or peaceful as we were hoping. It felt cluttered to me. Host, though, was very friendly and helpful. He came back periodically to check on us or tell us something. It is obvious he is working to continually improve the site and offer options for campers. Ambiance lighting was nice. Friday night we had no fire, as the available wood was not well chopped, and music played from the house well into the night. Saturday we got our own wood and had a more enjoyable evening. I recommend using your rain fly under the trees to keep beetle dropings out of your tent in the morning (I thought it was raining, seriously). A final word: I wouldn't recommend this site for very young kids as it is right next to the lake with no barrier.

Rick was very communicative, laid back, and hospitable. The tent area is a nice flat grassy spot beside the lake. He has an outdoor shower and fire pit that I didn't have a chance to use, but were nice features in case I needed them.
Our group had a great time at Rick's place. He was very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Rick made sure our group had everything we needed and provided bug spray, changing ports, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, firewood, and great stories. His property is nice and peaceful, nestled down by the lake. He even helped carry our gear from the car. We could tell he has put a lot of work into his space and it was very much appreciated. Our group didn't make his place the primary destination of our trip, but we wished we would have!
