Beautiful property and amazing hosts! They left us a cute welcome note and package, and were super helpful and responsive the whole weekend.
Pro tips for staying here!
1. Bring sources of shade. The prairie is beautiful but HOT and there isn’t a ton of tree cover.
2. Don’t be scared by a pit toilet. They made a comfortable and clean spot under a large ice fishing pop up shelter. A little Poo-Pourri made it quite pleasant even on a super hot weekend.
3. Unless you have a boat to put in the water, there isn’t much of a “swimming” spot, so be prepared to drive if you want an actual beach. Would be amazing for a boat though!!
Overall we had a wonderful experience and would do it all over again!
5/5 would recommend. The host, site, and amenities were amazing!
Alan was extremely helpful and kind. He told us some cool places to check out in Tomahawk, brought us firewood, and a puppy!
The site was extremely private and beautiful. We were tucked away against a woods in a big field that my own dog was very grateful for!
Stargazing is a must if you visit. We ended up going for a midnight swim off the dock. It was spectacular and peaceful!
Thanks for the awesome time Alan, we'll be back!!!
Our group had a really fun time exploring around the trails. The campsite was beautiful and secluded, perfect for a weekend getaway. I would highly recommend checking this place out!
