Margaret’s pond
44 north
My girlfriend and I spent the weekend at Margaret’s pond on Matthew’s land and had a fantastic time. We got to have a delicious breakfast in the morning with down to earth people and even got to buy some tasty syrup and eggs. We look forward to more stays in the future!

Red Pine
A beautiful place with secluded space. After a tour in a side-by-side from the friendly host Matt, we walked trails through the rolling landscape, ate an apple off a tree, and saw a big bunch of stars.

Sugar Maple
My wife and I had a great weekend there! We were looking for a secluded spot surrounded by woods but not too deep into the woods, Sugar Maple was perfect! The camp site is on a slight incline and Matt did place some sand in 2 spots to put up a tent. Being surrounded by all those trees, the camp site stayed pretty cool during the day and even with the wind blowing through the tree tops, all we felt was a slight breeze.
There was another camper and a crew cutting down some trees, which wasn’t even a bother, you’re spread out far enough that you rarely saw or heard anyone. Although the site is a good distance from the freeway, it’s so quiet, you will hear random trucks in the middle of the night.
He also has maple syrup and honey for purchase…Delicious! Explore and you’ll see where the maple syrup came from.
Thank you Matt! We’ll definitely be returning for another stay!
