Serene paddock camping located on the hilly outskirts the historic town of Toodyay. Sprawling 5.5 acres, this is the perfect spot to get away for the weekend or school holidays.
Toodyay is just 5kms down the road where you can find all the necessities; fuel, groceries, 2 pubs, cafes, best bakery in Perth (in my opinion), great walks and great views .
You can use your own camp ovens and gas bbq all year round I just cant adjust this on the fire ban page
camp fires allowed from 1st May to 30 sept unless shire call for fire ban

The location is great. Close to town but far enough away. Nice quiet setting with an extraordinarily friendly goat!
Lovely hosts on a lovely spot.

We had a lovely time for our two nights stay. Sarah was lovely and made our visit effortlessly and enjoyable. The goats and alpacas are friendly. The location is very close to town and very easy to find.

I had an amazing stay at M&S Hobby farm. Fantastic hosts, picturesque location not far from town. Lots of room to stay with a couple of other families without being on top of each other. Kids were well entertained by animals and climbing trees. highly recommend.

We loved our stay here even in the cold and the wet ! Mick & Sarah are lovely hosts , the views are sublime and the animals are simply gorgeous. Albert and Honey are the friendliest alpacas ! Sarah met us on arrival and we could just choose our camping spot in the paddock. We had our little dog Lucy with us as well. Very relaxed Hipcamp experience will definitely be back.

Friendly host with lovely dogs. We had a great night with a fantastic fire. Thanks

Hi Lynne Glad you enjoyed your night Hope to see ou again
Don’t know we couldn’t go as we were put into lockdown
No refund was offered by you
Not even a conversation about it
You couldn’t care less
So we won’t book with you ever again

Hi Julie Sorry you think this When you called I did say you need to email hipcamps to cancel ad get your money back as they do not pay us until after you have left. My other guest did this and all got a refund. I think you can still contact them now and they will email me to confirm and we will agree to refund your payment. If you cant do this then we would happily let you have your stay another time with no charge Let me know how you get on Sorry for late response but I very rarely go onto this web site
Albeit dry, we had a very nice stay. Mick & Sarah are delightful as are their four legged family of alpacas, sheep, goats and kelpies. It was quite contenting listening to the trains roll on by down the hill - we'd love to return once it greens up. ** BTW ignore Google maps directions taking you thru Avalon Homestead parking lot. ** From Julimar turn into Clarkson St, right into Beaufort, left into Wellington. See you soon!

Hi John and Denise Glad you had a good time even with the storm on your last night After all that rain the fields have already started to green up Thanks for your visit and hope to see you again
Hosts Mick and Sarah were friendly and welcoming and showed us to our spot. We had the choice of where to set up. Beautiful area overlooking the hills. The kids absolutely loved interacting with the farm animals (the goats, sheep, chickens and dogs). Close to town but far enough away to feel the seclusion. We were there during a new moon and the stars did not disappoint.
