As Rickety Gate is a working farm with electric fences, cattle and various hazards for children, the responsibility of having them on site is too great for us.We do hope you understand.Cellar Door is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00am - 4.30pm for tastings and purchases.Wines can be purchased throughout the week and Hipcamp guests receive 15% discount off the full range of wines.Pets: No animals at all please.

We had a beautiful relaxing stay! So close to everywhere we love to go in Denmark!
The owners were so welcoming and made everything super easy from the minute we messaged to book and then arriving to the hipcamp! We will be back 👏🏻
We loved it here. Power and fresh rain water supplied and beautiful spacious grassy sites. Only 12 kms to William bay and Greens pool with great swimming and walking tracks and picturesque views . Numerous wineries in the vicinity and wonderful places to have lunch. The hosts are lovely friendly people who also lent us a water hose as we had forgotten ours.
We booked 5 nights but extended another 5. Awesome place to chill or explore the local areas. Russeĺl was a great host and we enjoyed chatting to him. He makes great wines too and there is a cellar door on weekends. The sites are large with lovely green kikuya grass. Beautiful gum trees give shade from the western sun. Would defintely recommend Rickety Gate stay.
We were thrilled to find out there was power and water at our beautifully grassed site. Well located on the Scotsdale Road scenic drive. Friendly host Russell and family made us feel very welcome. Easy access to Denmark and surrounding attractions. We will be back!

Great allocation of space with mowed green grass, water and power available. Russ & Linda a pleasure to deal with and would stay at Rickety Gate again.

Lovely spot, very tranquil.
We stayed in bay 3 not 4 as Russell suggested it might be better. Very friendly hosts. Close to a lot of wineries, but most only open on the weekends. lots to see and do in Denmark.
