ELECTRICITY HOOK UP WATER HOOK UP LUSH GREEN GRASS AT EACH SITE 4 MAXI SIZED BAYS We are a CARAVAN and MOTORHOME SITE ONLY and DO NOT accommodate camper-trailers, tents or swags. Your Caravan/Motorhome must have its own shower and toilet on board. In order to make this as tranquil a site as possible, we do not permit Children under 13 years old or Pets to stay on site. This picturesque grassed property is situated 19 Kms along the scenic Scotsdale Road tourist route in Denmark, W.A. As Rickety Gate is a working farm with electric fences, cattle and various hazards for children, the responsibility of having them on site is too great for us. We do hope you understand. Cellar Door is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am - 4:30pm for tastings and purchases. Hipcamp guests will receive 15% discount off the full range of wines which can be purchased throughout the week.

Rickety Gate - Bay 3

Staying amongst friendly people.

It was a thrill to stay at Rickety Gate. Perfect location, so much to to within a short distance. Sites were completely level. Views were incredible and so quiet. Russ made us feel like family and just such genuine people. Loved our stay and have already recommended Rickety Gate to lots of people.

What a discovery!! So much lush, green grass - it was like being back home in England - against a backdrop of tall yarra trees. Magical! Russell and his mate Alan gave us such a warm welcome, and we had the best wine tasting ever (and we have had a lot!). Russell had so much passion for his vineyards and winemaking, and it showed in the wine. Needless to say we bought a case! And also got a tour around the shed where it all gets made, which was fascinating. Loved staying there, and will definitely return. Thanks for your hospitality Russell!

Beautiful property and charming winery nestled within a tranquil farm and bush land setting. Spacious camp sites, green grass and flat ground. Water and power a bonus. Russ is a friendly and hospitable host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Rickety Gate Estate.
