Carefree Camping
We loved that the camp was so close to the Forrest Highway for an easy access on a stopover to the South West. Andrea was great at communicating and made it very easy for us. Andrea's husband Chris met us at the gate as it was dark when we checked in and escorted to our camp site. We loved the information sheet that was provided with some local tips on places to eat and things to see. It was lovely and quiet and it was a fantastic stay.

Ferdinand - Perron Estate Camping
WOW from start to finish!!
We absolutely loved staying with Andrea & Chris! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with they're wonderful hospitality & handed a pack of Oreos and a typed list of all the info we needed which included a list of local places to visit, theyre recommendations certainly didn't dissapoint!! Our site - Ferdinand (named after they're beautiful gentlemanly highland cow) ticked all our boxes it was so private and relaxing and we were treated with a visit from a couple of possums and kangaroos at night... The kids absolutely LOVED feeding the 4 stunning Highland Cows which was so worth it! Andrea, Chris & Sienna were amazing when we fed the cows and made the kids feel so comfortable and they couldn't have been more hospitable and lovely we will be back soon we can't wait to see what winter looks like! Thanks again we will be back 🤗

Loved this camp!
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by such happy, friendly hosts. With lots of space for the kiddos, cow feeding, gorgeous views of the cows and kangas, magical sunrises/sets. Great spot to go off exploring for the day. We highly recommend adding this one to you list.

Ferdinand - Perron Estate Camping
Bush camping done right
From the very first time we sent an enquiry to the last day Perron Estate and hosts made you feel welcome. Communication - it might seem like a small thing but it makes a difference to be able to plan. Very quick to respond and knowledgeable. On arrival provided us with a list of places to see and eat at locally - brilliant! Site choice - we stayed on Ferdinand at it was perfect for us with 6 adults and 4 kids. Away from all other sites (but even those are spaced out) Location - super close to main shopping centres and also inland country towns. But with a peaceful bit of bush you truly feel you are away from the hustle and bustle. Things to do - we loved going on the bush tracks, kids riding their bikes, having a go at fishing in the dam, building natural cubby houses, feeding their highland cows was a treat, but then less than 10mins away you can get to the tourist attractions if you wish. We can’t thank you enough for having us and we will be back. If you are thinking of going for a stay and enjoy bush camping this is one of the best.
