Had an amazing long weekend staying in one of the Retreat’s large bell tents. We were planning to camp and stay within the forest but with the luxury of an outdoor fire pit that can be used as a stove, a cosy bed and remain warm inside the tent at the start of winter. This accomodation have ticked all the boxes with an addition of no light pollution at night which gives you an amazing view of the night sky. The hosts are very friendly and very accommodating. For me, its an all in one spot where I can buy a decent coffee and cakes as well as shopping around for some goods in their small shop i.e gumboots, camp accessories among others. Just take note of their shop opening times. It is also around 12mins drive to the main centre and just a few mins from witchcliffe’s awesome little cafe (which made me love the place even more cos of convenience). They also have cabins/studios if this is your preference. But for us campers, the tents are such a delight. Will surely come back again in the future.
The “what ifs” on the stay is - We should’ve booked for the breakfast or picnic platter which they offered.
A gem of a campsite, with enough amenities to make you feel almost like you’re at home without losing the camping experience. Sonia and Nick are welcoming and accommodating hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back for sure.
We had a great time glamping and Sonia and Nick’s! The kids enjoyed star gazing and waking up to the kangaroos and kookaburras! We can’t wait to go back.
My family and I had the dreamiest time at this glamping retreat. It was the perfect escape from the city, and the hosts were so lovely and helpful. Facilities are in great order and our tents were beautifully furnished and tidy.
Friendly hosts and staff with a tour of the grounds upon arrival. All basics are provided in the kitchen and bathroom/toilet area. Central to many locations. As a first time glamper, I absolutely loved my time here
