Hello and Welcome!

Hopeland Hideaway is located 3km from Kwinana Freeway with direct access to some of Perth's main attractions including Perth City, Rockingham, Mandurah and Serpentine falls with its walking trails. Port Kennedy 15kms has a fabulous beach with the new Birdie Restaurant and children's play area alongside what will be one of WA's top golf courses.

If you feel more adventurous, a Paintball Operation  phone 0418912795 and a Water Ski Park phone  9524 1401 is just a short drive from the campsite.

There is plenty of space around the property to set up camp and still maintain privacy and we have added three sites that would suit friends or families who wish to camp together but not on top of each other. There is a dam on the property and lots of beautiful trees and open areas. It's the perfect spot for a stop over night or a few days heading north or south.

You will need to be self sufficient including having your own water, toilet & power, you must take all waste and rubbish with you on departure.

Campfires are welcome in the permitted season but please keep them contained and ensure you check local restrictions before lighting any fire.

Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.

Really beautiful spot with plenty of room to spread out and find a spot that works for you even with your indicated "site".

the site was great, shady and flat. as its summer it was just dry grass and sand. nothing to do there, no views either, no walking trails either

Thanks for that Terry and for camping at our Hideaway, we are not a farm, we are sand (Soil) improvers and I'm sorry that you didn't ask about the walking trails along the Serpentine River which is just at the end of the road. As you may note, our site description does mention the Serpentine Falls with all its hill top walk trails, probably the best beach in the area Port Kennedy Bay and one or two privately owned amenities close by.

Great little hide away. No other people there so was able to really spread out and have a great time! Will be back for sure!

We needed time out before Christmas Day. Hopeland is close to home (Mandurah) and quiet. No toilet/shower facilities so couldn’t stay there for too long! Site 6 and 7 Close to the bee boxes ☹️ But didn’t bother us!

Hi there Aileen, Thanks for the review, hopefully in the New Year we'll have at least a toilet facility, water is our big problem for showers as there is no mains supply in our road. We will always welcome you back should you require respite from Mandurah. Cheers Rod C.

Enjoyed staying at Hopeland Hideaway 👍..
Rod was very hospitable and we had a lovely chat with him.
Site were spacious and flat. Only one other camper van, so nice and quiet.
All we woke up to was the sound of the birds chirping - beautiful.
Only 30 mins from our home south of Perth, so a great little getaway. We even found a new dog beach that we didn’t know about at Secret Harbour, 15 mins drive from the campsite. We then topped it off by enjoying a refreshing sundowner at the local bar.
Would definitely recommend.
Thanks Rod.

Peaceful with the wind blowing through the trees and the birds chirping.
Not very many sites so plenty of space between.
