It was a great spot at charmaines. We weren’t on tops of other campers and we had a great area for our dogs to run around. Had a great outlook. Would highly recommend this camping spot .

Nice spot to relax for a few days. Quiet and peaceful lots, of nice beaches only a few Ks away.
Great to base yourself here if you want to have the attractions on your doorstep but want to be out of the busy towns like Denmark.
This is our 2nd time here and Charmaine is a great host and always keen to offer local recommendations.

Nice quiet, central, easy to find location. Close to everything - Walpole, Frankland River, Coalmine Beach, Valley of the Giants, Conspicuous Cliffs, Peaceful Bay, Blue Holes 4wd drive track to beach. Friendly host with good communication. Good value for money compared to caravan parks in the area, especially during peak periods.

Open, spacious paddock area with occasional tree and bush on the side. Ground is a bit uneven and some ants nests so you have to pick your spots for a tent but apart from that pretty good. I would happily go there again.

Nice & quiet plus close to everything.
Even with the camp being busy there was lots of space for everyone without being on top of each other.

The site was ok. I thought it was very overpriced for what it was. It has a very tight entrance. Hipcamp is very misleading. I thought I had booked for two people only to discover the price I paid was for 1 person.

Response from Charmaine, the Host, on January 13th, 2021

Hello Rosaleen, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you felt it was over priced. I only take a few campers so as too give visitors plenty of space, and a quiet place to stay. It not be worth my while to open up my private space for less, the income that comes from Hipcamp goes towards covering cost for clearing and slashing. And today there is earthworks happening on my drive to widen the entrance and form a larger turnaround area. I do improvements as my budget allows, so I hope you will find changes if you do call again. Kind regards Charmaine
