Come revive yerselves in the Glory of Nature's wonderful West Virginia. I have found over the years that when people come here they sleep in. It's as though the freneticism of the rat race has people all wound up and when they rest among the smells, sounds, and fresh air of our woodlands their bodies signal to relax. Deeply... There is so much here to experience with the diversity of terrains from the songbirds to the fruits and foods that grow wildly along the forest edges. You will rehabilitate a piece of your soul here.
The Deep Hollerlujah is a very private site. is the original homesite on the farm and is a flat grassy area. There is a 3 walled open building that has a sink with well water, electric hotplate and light, refrigerator, kitchen counter space and the humanure bucket. The grassy site is perched right above the holler so a 2 minute walk down to the creek drops you into a different world. There is also a camping site down in the woods for a more primitive camping option.
Our farm consists mostly of organic fruit and nut production over 1/6 of the property. It is a wildly varied landscape of over 300 acres which provides dynamic hiking along cliffs, a creek, waterfalls, fields and woods, and ponds. We live to eat and I am a food enthusiast and eat a lot of wild foraged foods along with what I grow. We are nestled in a very quiet enclave of southeast WV and it is a sanctuary from the bustle.

Best hipcamp first impression!
Highly recommend staying here if you want privacy and the best camping experience. I chose this property to get away from the busy, crowded campgrounds and I was in for a treat! Upon arrival, Bill met us at the top of the hill and offered to drive our gear down to the campsite since we drove a car. We were able to get to the parking area safely in a Honda civic. Bill helped us get settled and showed us all the amenities of the site (which were more than we expected). The site itself was pretty open, very private and so relaxing. We had access to a small cabin where we could store our stuff out of the elements and even a mini fridge and hot plate! We partook in the wild foods walk with Bill and his business partner “Bulldog” and had a wonderful time trying all the native plants in the area. The property was very dog friendly and my dog was off leash most of the time. There are chickens on the property so I leashes her periodically for safety’s sake. The stars at night are second to none! We planned on using the campsite as a base to visit nearby national parks, but ended up staying at the campsite because we were enjoying it so much. 10/10 will stay here again!
Nut'Inn is a wonderful place to take some time for yourself or to spend with family and friends. You can look forward to some of the most beautiful misty morning sunrises that exist or a beautiful starlit night, I swear there's something special about the way the clouds hang in the valleys of West Virginia and at night while enjoying the sound of crickets all around and the warmth and smell of a bonfire I could see the wisp of the Milky Way. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to explore the woods nearby and also going for a short 2-mile hike only a 30-minute drive away to one of the most beautiful lookout points I've been to, If you're a bird watcher this observatory is a great spot to stay for a couple of hours and watch migratory birds of prey as they pass by. I got a tour from Bill of his orchard and got to learn about his viewpoint on plants and farming It was a wonderful experience! If you have a passion or interest in fruits or nuts you can definitely learn something new from Bill. I got my first ever taste of Pawpaws, had some of the best olives I've ever had which he grew right there on his farm, and I also got some hickory oil which is something I've never even heard of before (it tastes great). I got to meet some great people and enjoy a lovely couple of days camping in a peaceful place I definitely recommend it!
