Definitely a neat space offering a hybrid between primitive and accommodation-filled camping. Location is very ideal for hiking around the NRG National Park. Beautiful, scenic area.

Loved this site, it was cool to have the container to actually sleep in and not set the tent up, made it a really relaxing open-air experience. Having some electrical hookups to put up a fan in the heat was clutch. Tennyson is a great host, very responsive. If you’re looking to explore Fayetteville and the river, this is a great home base.

What a unique space! We loved the off-grid feel while being close to Fayetteville (about a five minute drive into town). The neighbors were very kind and we saw loads of deer. Endless Wall trailhead is walking distance from the property and it's a must-see!

Just to be clear: the sleeping areas are covered by the container's roof, but the other end is open, so they are pretty exposed. There were a bunch of thunderstorms and we stayed dry, but it was incredibly humid after. The cicada/peepers were also pretty loud at night, so if you're a light sleeper maybe reconsider (or bring earplugs!). We really enjoyed being out in nature but I could totally see how it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

This space was beautiful, we arrived after dark and loved the lighting that made it easy to land. Nice to sleep in the open air.

Tennyson’s container space was perfect. I was traveling solo with my dog and decided to stop off at the gorge to break up the trip just a few days before I headed out on the road. I enjoyed the open area and the seclusion. It was exactly what I was looking for. It stormed that night, as was expected. It was beautiful to watch and listen while staying cozy and dry from the bed. The stars were amazing that evening before the storm rolled in and you could see lightning lighting up the sky in the far distance. Tennyson was very helpful and was responded quickly to any questions I had. The space is right down the road from beautiful hiking and just a quick drive to the National Park. I only had a day to spend, but really want to go back to enjoy it a little more and get on the river. West Virginia definitely did not disappoint. The ecosystem is very diverse and abundant. I found 10+ different funghi while on the endless wall trail. And this was very exciting!! Some I did’t even know their identification as I am not from the area and couldn’t wait to ID them when I was back home to my books.

Had a wonderful time staying here. This spot is conveniently close to a lot of climbing and hiking. The host had went out of his way to make the place have everything we would need for the stay. I would definitely recommend this unique experience!

The set up was really great - there are two storage containers stacked on each other, one being the main living space and the other serving as an off-grid bathroom (with a view!). There is a deck built out from the main container with a nice grill, and it looks out onto a beautiful view of the trees. Part of the container’s wall has been removed so you still get the open-air feel, but with the luxury of still having a roof over your head at night in case of rain. There is a nice little water and stovetop coffee set up in the container, as well as a bed and a couch. It felt very lovely and homey while staying true to the essence of camping!

My stay at the container was perfect. I expected just to pitch my hammock tent but ended up sleeping in the comfortable bed in the upper container (there is another bed in lower!) there is a toilet and drinking water on site, electric and a fan so I felt spoiled as someone who will pitch a tent anywhere. It is tucked in a residential area but completely private and not super close to any homes. Tennyson was a great host, super chill, accommodating and responsive. The location was absolutely amazing. I hit the endless wall trail head early in the morning and had it all to myself. It’s minutes away. There are interesting little bars and restaurants and music Venus tucked into the hills on backroads. The bridge is right down the street and you are minutes from any excursion you want to go on. My stay was a 10 out of 10 and it will be my hub from now on coming into the area. Highly recommend
