Unplug from the world can be great for the mind, soul and body, a change to recharge and relax in peace and quiet. Located on a 100acre farm with horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks and Geese and abundance of wildlife with beautiful mountainous hiking trails throughout.  This cabin has no electric but does have solar lighting and a propane wall heater for chilly nights. It has a queen size bed and a queen size futon, water dispenser and a huge fire-pit to cook on. There is a johnny on the spot and a shower house with an instant hot water heater for taking  nice hot showers..  Just bring your essentials, a cooler of food/beverages and a camera to capture the memories and leave your worries behind. Horses are welcome for a small fees so hook up your trailer. The area has many parks, rivers and trails for : Fly fishing, kayaking, Biking, Hiking,Horseback Riding, bird watching & Photography, etc.  Attractions include: The Greenbrier river trial (77 miles long) , Droop Mountain, Beartown park, Greenbrier State park, Farmers Markets, The West Virginia State fair, Antique shopping, Flea Markets, Lost Work Cavern and Organ Cave, Historic Museum, and local Breweries and Wineries. There are Covered Bridges and just beautiful country drives.  Downtown Lewisburg only 4 miles away offers fine dining, pubs, shopping, theater, First Friday events and many festivals throughout the year.  Come see What  WV "The Wild and Wonderful " has to offer..

Pets are welcome with approval, there is a $15 pet fee per pet.

The cabin and farm were great! The heater was surprisingly effective, and we had decent cell service as well.

It's about an hour to New River Gorge, which is where we spent most of our time, but be sure to check out Lewisburg!
