It ain't fancy, but it is steps away from Dry Run Spirits distillery (apple brandy and apple, maple moonshines). Ask for a tasting! You have all the amenities of the resort. The space will keep you out of the weather, allow for plugging in a cpap, and is great overflow lodging for events. This room is below the hosts' home in the lodge.
We've got 190 acres - you are welcome to roam. Enjoy our 5+ miles of hiking trails, 2 fishin' ponds, porches, or a mountain top patio. The historic Ananias Pitsenbarger Farm is on site, an historic 1840s homestead. Take the self guided tour. Board games, hammock are available. You are welcome to use the large picnic pavilion.
We're near Seneca Rocks, nRocks, Smoke Hole/Big Bend, Spruce Knob, fests in Franklin or Highland County VA. Superb fishing is a few minutes away at the Thorn Creek Wildlife Management area, or at a nearby river or lake.
Inquire about a charcuterie sampler, backpack lunch (or dinner), or non-alcoholic mix-ins to make cocktails from a bottle of moonshine (bottles sales on site).
3 night minimum on holiday weekends. Dogs are not allowed, sorry.

NRocks' Via Ferrata is about 35 mins away, Seneca Rocks about 45 mins away. Reed's Creek is a little closer.
