The reservation process, the site itself and the service were amazing. My family and friends went there in October 2021. In spite of clear forecast it was raining throughout the whole weekend and the camp offered service of dining in which was great and inexpensive.

Large, private site. Great for social distancing. We had a lot of rain, so were glad to have the sauna, pavilion, and cafe. Make sure you reserve the sauna. Only one family at a time.

Nook was very private for our group of 3 families and the Buffalo Gap is a gorgeous location for camping. The beautiful lake, trails and surroundings made it very calm and relaxing. Hosts were accommodating and ready to jump in and help. They even let us do a late checkout. I would highly recommend and we are for sure going back.

Very nice campground and the hosts were super friendly! We had a great first experience here despite it being cold and rainy - we booked for two nights but only ended up staying one because of the weather. We were really bummed about that but it's totally uncontrollable - we can't wait to try again and come back later in the summer! I would definitely recommend this place but am hesitant for fear that it will become too busy once the secret gets out! :)

Great camping site for a bigger group and families. Slightly tucked away between trees to give privacy and has a small lake with canoes that is free to use.

We were looking for the perfect group campsite, and Buffalo Gap fit the bill! We were very happy with our accommodations.: privacy, cleanliness, beautiful campground. It was a little tricky to find, but maintenance guy Warren was happily helping us with whatever we need. We were looking for a relaxing Labor Day weekend, and Buffalo Gap was perfect. The lake was amazing with fresh spring fed water and boats to use at no extra cost. Everything was very clean at first, but, the only complaint is that the bathroom was neglected as the weekend went on. No toilet paper, no paper towels and no soap for at least the last day. Thankfully we brought our own. Other than that, it was a busy Labor Day, but we still felt for the most part to have our little slice of heaven. Highly recommend!!

Tbis was a great site for our family gathering. The Nook is tucked away, but really right in the middle of everything! The beach, bathrooms and showers are just a short walk away. We will definitely be back!
