If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The site was nice, but very basic and not adjacent to the lake like i had assumed. the sites could have a level tent pad to avoid the lumps nd uneven ground where you are allowed to camp. At $35 for one night, it's a little pricy for what you get
We slept in our van so did not use the tent sites. The outhouse is new and clean with sanitizer and an automatic outside light, which is nice. Cindy was very prompt in communicating with us and answering questions. We loved the location overlooking the lake and close to Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. We used to have chickens and goats so enjoyed hers. Cindy has created nice trails to the tent sites and yurt with cute signs for each. This was our first experience with Hipcamp and we would recommend it!
Quiet and clean. Very pretty with lots of wildlife around. We heard coyotes, owls, plenty of birds-excellent for us! The spot to access the lake was beautiful (lots of birds there also!). Overall a very good experience, would recommend.
Great host and location
Fantastic camp site and great host. Very clear directions and good communication. The views were a pleasant surprise. Took a short walk from camp for a great cliffside sunset by a lake.
Lovely space / friendly host
This site is on a lovely piece of land with a short walk to a lake overview where you can sit and watch the sunrise. You will hear birdsong in the evening and morning, and there is a tap for water on the premises. The outhouse was squarely inside the other site and their tent was almost back to back with the building...I held off going for a while out of shyness. It is a very nice & new building. Site is rocky and overlaid with wheat...if you have an inflatable tent pad you will be OK. This is a nice way to experience the lake but keep a little distance from the party atmosphere of the resort.
Just what we needed
My parents and I loved staying the night here on our drive through Washington. The location is beautiful and the site had been thoughtfully prepared. The host Cindy was very welcoming and helpful. Our tent site was a little close to the (beautiful and new!) outhouse and the ground was somewhat uneven, but that is because there will soon be yurts there! I got to feed the goats in the morning and watch them do their little prance.
