Our stay was good, the place it's very close to the national park entrance, about 5 minutes ,crystal was very nice and good at communication, the only i didn't really like that there was a dog, while we weren't there it came at our camping spot and pooped there. Overall it's good place, crystal is very helpful and nice, the plus is the location.
As others have said, this site is close to the road. But it didn’t bother us or keep us up at night. It had everything we needed and the porter potty was very clean. Great proximity to the park! Crystal was very responsive and helpful when we had questions.
Awesome and cannot wait to return.
Great location! The only negative thing to say (and it is just the location) was the road traffic was loud during the early evening hours. But after dark it was nice a quiet. We practically had the area to ourselves the second night. I cannot wait to see changes Crystal will make to make this place even better. I look forward to returning.
Fun and eclectic site
We stayed in the RV site with full hook up, which was great! It would be a fun place to bring a large group, there is plenty of room. Right across the street from Alexander’s Inn, the signs guide you to your site by the name of the site. Although the road was busy during the day, it was silent at night, except for the sounds of owls and coyotes. The sites were clean, and although there were piles of old lumber and equipment around due to the history of the property, and the work being done there, the sites them selves were tidy. With all there is to do on Mt Rainier, honestly could have stayed all week! We Look foreward to returning😁
Convenient, relaxed & personable
We loved staying at Wilderness path! Very convenient for the Mt Rainer Nisqually Park entrance. Our host Crystal was very welcoming, and we loved the authentic personal touches - like fresh picked wild flowers- at our campsite. She offered great local tips and recommendations, and we’re excited to return in future to try one of the other wilderness path campsites.
