Noise and uneven, good location
As other reviews have said, it is next to the freeway, so you do hear the cars passing by, especially the motorcycles and trucks. The cars are like white noise. It was a bit hard to fall asleep, but not terrible after being asleep for a while. The ground was uneven so there weren’t many places for comfortably setting up the tent and there was an ant colony near the tree on the left. There were a few amenities like a simple folding table with plastic chairs as well as a bucket for trash. The portable toilet was on the other side of the property so it wasn’t very convenient. Having no water was also an inconvenience and would be more difficult for a longer stay. I booked last minute for one night and it is a bit overpriced for what you get, but the location was great being so close to Mount Rainier.
Perfect camping spot close to park
It was absolutely ADORABLE! I loved it so much. Very easy to find as Crystal gave great directions. It’s almost as if the land was made for camping. Such a quaint little place for me, my dad, and brother to settle into after a long day of hiking !
Close to rainier
This camp was perfect for my partner and I. Its close proximity to Rainier NP was amazing and the actual site (corner site) was well away from the road. The amenities such as the table and chairs were a nice touch after camping without them for a week! I would definitively stay here again! (I would suggest either the corner or creek sites as they have the mosf privacy)
Was a super sweet location that’s super close to one of Mount Rainier’s entrances (just a few minutes drive). Also very close to restaurants. Crystal was very nice and left us a little bouquet of flowers on our table, as well as a bowl of freshly picked fruit and some maps of the park. We originally booked the site for just a night thinking we’d wake up in the morning and try and get a spot at the first come first serve sites in the park but decided to stay at Crystal’s an extra night since it was such a nice site and practically inside the park, itself.
Simple camping spot had what we needed. Nice and close to park entrance and ashford. Spot had a place for recycling and trash. We didn’t find a place to access water but didn’t try very hard so we used water we traveled with to drink and wash dishes. It’s not very far from the road so you do hear road noise but it gets quiet at night. Portapotty was clean and nearby. All in all a good experience.
This is so close to Mt. Rianier Paradise entrance! The corner camp was far back from the road, so our stay was peaceful and private. The campsite was great, with a very soft ground, shade, chairs, and a table. We would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.
Spectacular spot right next to Rainier entrance station. Host was amazing and helpful with any questions. Family had a great time when in camp and enjoyed all the great historic buildings and artifacts hidden about the property. Would definitely stay again:)
