18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use. There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use.
You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies.
There is a gas station, coffee shop, public beach, over 21 restaurant/bar and small store within walking distance from the property too.
This is the perfect camping spot if you want to play at the lake but still be close to some conveniences or to town.
The owners use the property to access the garden and dock/lake and may be there occasionally during your stay, during the day.

We all had such a wonderful time at Robert & Cheryl’s land. My kids had an absolute BLAST!!! The memories we made together had me smiling so much that my cheeks hurt! My husband and I laughed so much and even got quality time alone while Grandma stayed with our little ones. We stayed two nights and slept well both nights listening to bullfrogs in the lake and watching shooting stars shimmer across the sky. The large field allowed my dogs ample room to roam and my children to play flashlight tag & hide-n-seek. The water is so wonderfully refreshing and a fantastic way to spend the day with fun toys. Bring your kayak, paddle board, fishing pole, etc. The porta potty was clean and stocked, the bundle of wood we paid for was plenty, and the hosts met us there to get us settled in. This place is a magical spot! Being on the water during sunset while the moon was bright totally made my heart sparkle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to going back.

Such a beautiful spot! My kids and I loved floating in our little boat along the lily pads and making up stories about the water village underneath us. Host was very helpful and communicative. We walked to the community park for easier beach swimming. We’d do it again!
The location is great and so peaceful.
We loved Robert’s place on Clear Lake. It is mostly a wide open field right next to the lake, so our dog loved it! We did some paddleboarding and the lake temperature was perfect. We met Robert’s family and everyone seemed genuinely nice.
There is a very real chance that we will visit again.
Excellent campsite right on the lake, beautiful views, picnic table and chairs with fire pit. We brought our own firewood but it was also available for purchase. Clean portable toilet and very friendly owners who stopped to say hi. We brought our kayak and it’s a 5 minute paddle (or walk) to the Clearlake beach where there is running water in the bathrooms, Nice sandy/grass area for kids to play.
Robert is a very attentive land owner and was a pleasure to work with. Great spot.
Space was great. Very open, would be good with kids he need to run around.
