The idea for Tiny Acres came after living full time on the road in a van for nearly four years. After traveling to many far off places, it occurred to us that finding safe and affordable places to park were often far and in-between. Traveling full time with a dog also made it hard to find places that would accommodate his needs as well. After searching over a year for the perfect location, we found five acres that would allow us to build two tiny houses and several private parking stalls for traveling nomads. In the near future, there will even be several tent sites and a mile long hiking trail through gorgeous old growth trees. Some other amenities include a year-round lake for casual floating, an oversized community firepit with bench seating a large play field for the furrier travelers, a volleyball net and a horseshow pit.

Tiny Acres Getaway (site 3)

Quiet and peaceful

We found this cool little spot on a road trip to the coast. The camp sites were very nice with plenty of room to spread out yet still have your privacy. We did meet the goats, they came to our camp to "examine" it and then went on their way! We would definitely stay in this place again... Possibly the yurt next time!!

Nice close to town get away

Nice big open site , other sites are close by but tucked away onto the trees. Great big fire pit . It was quiet at night and the owners were very friendly and helpful . The goats were entertaining - the two of them walk around together , or snuggle up in their pen. It was nice to have a place to unplug and be out of the city, surrounded by trees .

Tiny Acres Getaway (site 3)

Darling Little Oasis

What a cute little campground! We had a lot of fun exploring and taking photos. The kids loved being able to run free and play in the dirt. Campground 3 is spacious (more than enough room for the 2 tents our party uses) and we loved the swing. Also, the goats were adorable and very friendly. Definitely a forestry vibe, while still being close enough to a convenience store/fast food location to grab things that we forgot/didn’t want to cook.

Luxury Belle Tent (#4)

A perfect spot! We made friends with a barred owl the first night we were there. The canvas tent was so sweet and romantic. Definitely a hidden gem. :)
