There are walking trails all around the site. Picnic table and fire pit with grate supplied. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 25 years old. There is fairly good screening between sites. N0 power. Water is NOT available in the site, but there are hydrants elsewhere on the property. We do not have shared spaces, such as restrooms, and will insist that you provide your own bathrooms. Absolutely no cat holes! Bring your trailer or RV to the Arboretum on our Christmas tree farm. No TENTS. Bathrooms NOT provided. Widely spaced campsites provide plenty of private space. Just eight sites available, so we are never crowded. Drone flying is allowed so don't be surprised if you see some overhead or on the drone course. Check out our other sites!! A beautiful arboretum mixed with cows and mountain view’s, you can’t go wrong. We had a blast flying our quads and are looking forward to our next trip.
It is a nice quite with a huge amount of space between campers. I had my brother come along with his trailer for only $10 a night more, we could fit a few more trailers in my site with planning if we wanted to. It is a perfect balance of trees shade and enough sun for my solar to recharge to 100 percent. many types of trees to search out. We did the hike to the water, which was a pretty good 3/4 of a mile hike down with a slight climb to the river, but well worth it. The hosts are outstanding. I cannot say enough to how great of a spot it is, and looks to become even better as they open more on their property.
Very nice stay, private and spread out camps so you almost felt alone. Had a great visit with Barb and appreciated her art and studio. That was a huge perk. Firewood is very good and easily available thanks to Terry. Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier are not too far to access for a day trip. Next time, I would go for Brown or Cedars, and certainly would stay again!
As I drove up the driveway I was amazed at the beautiful location and then looked off to my left and saw a deer walking by. This was my first stay but will not be my last. Great ownership that obstacles pride in their property. Flew my drone to get some great pics of my new rig but they have a drone course as well! The spots are separated and have enough trees & plants to feel somewhat secluded. Wonderful option for dry camping but they do have access to water if you need it.
This place is so clean and peaceful. The sites are large, with no issue getting a big camper in to any of the sites.
Barb and Terry are really nice hosts and super responsive if you need anything.
